I am passionate about the aviation and aircargo industry and more importantly the great colleagues and partners who carry out that work. I’m particularly proud of the trust my contacts put in me, the joy I take in finding partners, developing talent and creating solutions. Aviation brings me new ideas, new innovations and feeds my constant need to drive change and to set new standards.
On behalf of Schiphol Group I am currently in charge of the community initiative Task force “Vaccines Gateway Netherlands”, which concerns the logistics and distribution of Covid vaccines from, to and via the Netherlands. An important task but also a wonderful thing to make a contribution in this fight against this virus.
Challenging assignments as “Get Brexit ready” and process optimization in the Smart Cargo Mainport Program are other community initiatives which drives collaboration, innovation and learning from each other.
Most recently I served as Director Special Programs of Air Cargo Netherlands, establishing the Pharma Gateway Amsterdam. Prior to ACN I held various positions at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, successfully implementing SRA-CP security in the cargo area and realising Cargo stations 9, 11, 12 and 18.
